Welcome to the Indie Pendant Book Awards, a celebration of outstanding educational books published by independent publishers and self-published authors. Our mission is to recognize and honor the creativity, dedication, and hard work of indie authors and publishers who contribute richly to the educational landscape, particularly in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

Each year, we invite submissions from indie authors and small publishers across various educational genres, with a special focus on STEAM subjects. Our panel of anonymous judges, consisting of educational experts and avid learners, rigorously evaluates each entry based on quality, originality, and impact. Winners are announced at the end of December, and their achievements are celebrated through a variety of promotional efforts.

Independent authors and publishers often bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the educational world. Despite being a large group of producers today, indie authors struggle to find space on bookshelves and often miss out on the promotional opportunities available to authors working with major publishers. This includes exposure at book fairs, signings, promotion circuits, and conferences. By supporting and acknowledging their work, we hope to encourage more creative voices and foster a diverse and vibrant educational community.
